A sweep over Florida A&M: 25-3, 25-9, 25-17. 25-3 is the most one-sided set Nebraska has played since the 25 point format was introduced in 2008.
It was also the least total points scored by a Nebraska opponent in the rally-scoring era, 29 versus the previous record 32.
It may well have been the most lopsided win ever, but there’s no good way to compare results from back in the sideout scoring days to rally scoring today. Also, in addition to being the lowest total points allowed for a match, set one was a record in points allowed in a set: 3 vs the old record of 4.
It was nice to see the Huskers be efficient, though their focus wandered a bit in set three. They’ll need 100% focus this evening, because Miami can be very good——they knocked off Texas and Stanford this season.
