Texas and Penn State, pre-season #1 and #2, have both dropped out of the AP top 25.
Nebraska has 60 votes in the AP poll, which would put them in 30th place and 17 votes in the Coaches poll, 35th.

I cannot believe that Cincinnati is higher than we are, though they did just beat ISU who was and still is ranked.
Congrove has the Huskers at 29th and Massey has them also at 29th.

I’m glad the Huskers are not ranked, yet.
One less distraction this week.
Win a conference road game, or better yet two in a row, and the rankings will take care of themselves.
This team has learned to not fold in the face of adversity, to not beat itself, and to keep fighting until the final whistle…at home in front of 86,000 Husker fans in a sea of red.
Now take the next step and do it on the road against 2 teams they should beat.
GBR!
