The Huskers are 9.5 point underdogs at Penn State this week, a 6PM kickoff on NBC.
That may not be enough. I just can’t see them stopping the run.
TJ looked good, but that was UCLA. How will he do with an effective pass rush?

I hope the Huskers have used the off week to shore up the defensive line/backers with some new ideas, stunts, etc. Not sure we can win a shootout in Happy Valley.

At this stage of the season, it’s still about the fundamentals. Bad tackling will trump good defensive schemes, unfortunately. The Huskers need to get a solid running game going then let TJ show what he can do. Playcalling was still pretty vanilla last week, not much downfield passing.
Might be a cold wet game.
