I know betting odds aren’t really about who’s supposed to win, but the Huskers are 5.5 point favorites at Illinois on Friday.
I don’t gamble on sports, but I am completely out on this season and coaching staff. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a repeat of the Minnesota game from last year, with Nebraska losing by 2+ scores
I don’t see that. This is a very good Huskers team that has 3 fixable problems.

This team is much better running the ball. In the second quarter this week they threw 20 passes and had 3 runs (something like that). Additionally, they kept calling for deep passes. If they are going to throw, run slants and hit the TEs. This is all on Holgerson and can be fixed.

4th quarter meltdowns could be fixed by running the same schemes on both sides of the ball that got you there. No reason to change to conservative.

I believe in man coverage with pressure, but I hate it when Marshall is the Blitzer. He is too valuable in coverage.
Just my thoughts. Oh, by the way, my wife and I are attending the game on Friday. We try to got to one or two games a year. Win or lose, we plan on keeping that tradition.
