Nebraska beats Penn State

87-64 win in Lincoln.

Sam Hoiberg got his first double-double with 11 points and 10 assists.

Sandfort had 33 points and 8 3’s, both career highs.

Lawrence left the game in the 2nd half with what looked like a left ankle injury and headed straight to the locker room, let’s hope it isn’t serious.

Well, we won the game. Penn State is a pretty bad team. If we played well, we may have beat them by forty. Mast still looks off. Lawrence has lost his shot. It was nice to see Leo Curtis get some decent minutes. He could be our next Rich King.

Overall, we’re still in a bit of a funk. We need to get back on track and finish the season strong.

Interesting day for basketball, I can’t remember any time when the top 4 teams were playing each other in late February. #1 Michigan lost to #3 Duke and #2 Houston lost to #4 Arizona.

#8 Kansas was pummeled at home by Cincinnati and #19 Vanderbilt lost to Tennessee.

And #10 Illinois just lost on an OT buzzerbeater at UCLA.

And #6 Iowa State just lost to #23 BYU, so there will be some shuffling of the Top 25 on Monday.
