The Nebraska-MSU game is one of 4 home games that will have alcohol sales this year.
What is the determining factor or factors as to what games get alcohol and what games don’t?
If you read the article, it said that alcohol will not be available at the first two games due to ‘logistical challenges’.
MSU’s ability to sell alcohol by mid-September also depends on the vendors getting their liquor licenses in time, which may have been part of the logistics issue. But it sounds like they’ve got support from the Governor and that might ensure the State Liquor Control Commission doesn’t thrown up extra roadblocks.
I’m not convinced this will be a money tree for MSU, though.
