Michigan apparently set to hire Kyle Whittingham

Whittingham retired at Utah ahead of their bowl game, but now ESPN is reporting he will be Michigan’s new coach. He’s 66, one has to wonder if this is a short-term replacement while they decide who they want long term.

Well, he’s on a 5 year contract, but that really doesn’t say how long he plans to keep coaching.

Sounds like he’s going to hire the BYU DC as an assistant.

It’ll be interesting to see how many players and coaches from Utah join him.
