Husker picked up two more transfer players, the first is Trevan Leonhardt, a 6’5” point guard from Utah Valley University. In 2025-26 he averaged 11.9 ppg with 5.4 rebounds, 6 assists, 2.1 steals a game and shot 36.8% on 3 point attempts.
Sounds like he may be the kind of playmaker Sam Hoiberg was while being enough bigger to be a true point guard, I just hope he’s at least half as much fun to watch as Sam was.
The Huskers also picked up Kaydn Betts, a 6’8” forward from Montana, who averaged 5 minutes per game in 2025-26.
