Nebraska came from behind, again, to beat UCF in the CBC tournament 77-66.
It makes the end of the season a bit more upbeat as the Huskers will head into a major rebuild for 2025-26.
Huskers started out well and led by 12 in the first half. They only scored once in the last 5 minutes and went into halftime tied 35-35.
It took them almost 5 minutes into the second half to record their 36th and 37th points. UCF built up a 14 point lead and to make matters worse, Juan Gary took an elbow to the head (no foul was called of course) and he was taken to the locker room. The Huskers and Gary shook it off and regained the lead. Huskers won by 11 but would have won by 20 if they could have hit their free throws.
Now, on to next year and Trev, find a different candidate.
