Huskers beat NW 75-69. Huskers shot very well but turned the ball over 17 times which helped keep NW ion the game. Huskers go to 14-5 and 4-4 in the Big X.

I thought the Huskers had a great game plan, they kept Bouie from dominating the game and used a strong inside game that Northwestern just couldn’t stop. But for the turnovers this could have been a rout. Possibly one of Fred’s best coaching efforts. This will help their tournament resume, but they’ve got a bunch of tough games left, including a trip to Evanston on Feb. 7th. Both teams are flirting with being on the bubble.
Obviously I don’t know how to start a new thread. I thought I did and gave it a different title than what is showing. Oh well. At least the Huskers won a game they really needed to win.
