The Iowa defense was keeping the Husker outside and they were just 3-12 from there.
Lawrence, Mast and Buyuktuncel all have 2 fouls, that may become an issue in the 2nd half.

Nebraska went 5-23 from deep and got out-rebounded 37-24 with just 2 offensive rebounds, and the Huskers lose on the road to Iowa 57-52.
The officiating wasn’t going Nebraska’s way, either, but in the long run they just got out-muscled.

This team have completely lost the plot. They can’t shoot and they can’t rebound. Kiss the Top 10 goodbye.
I don’t know what’s wrong with Mast, but he is a shadow of what he was earlier this year. Sanford had a very meh game in his return to Iowa City. Berkeley was pretty meh, too.
All in all a sad, sad performance. This season is in real danger of going completely to $hit. Very disappointing. They played like the football team plays.
Or, possibly, Carver Hawkeye Arena is one of the most difficult arenas to play in. A week before the Michigan game I said we were going to lose the four games we lost. I 100% believe that we will win out from here. The sky is not falling. Big Ten basketball is tough, and NU is still having the best Nebraska season ever.
Yeah, road games are always tougher than home games, but Iowa had a game plan that just stifled the Huskers and they really never found the answer to it. Let’s hope they do, because all the other teams on their schedule will study that game tape along with the Michigan, Illinois and Purdue games to see what it takes to knock off the Huskers.
