There is something seriously wrong with this team and Fred needs to fix it ASAP before this season implodes.
It looks like teams have figured out how to take Nebraska’s cut plays away from them, and having the cut move was what allowed the outside shooting to work.
Hoiberg is going to be so hard to replace next season.
Much better play in the 2nd half and the Huskers pull away to an 82-67 win.
The return of Sam Hoiberg to the lineup in the second half was like flipping a switch. The Huskers got the lead up to 20 and then seemed to tale their foot off the gas and coast home.
Now, on to UCLA. We don’t need a sliw start on Tuesday. We need to come out of the gate fast and hard. We need to get back to the way we were play for the first 20 games of the season.
An interesting day on BTN, first Iowa got beat on the road by last-place Penn State, then Northwestern hit a buzzer-beater to defeat Oregon, and then Nebraska’s strong 2nd half made it sound like a Husker home game: GO BIG RED!
