Huskers put up a road win at #16 Oregon

77-71 road win for the Huskers, that makes 4 wins against top 25 opponents this year, first time in 26 years. There are currently no rated teams left on the regular season schedule.

The Huskers will stay on the west coast since they play @Washington on Wednesday.

OK, they’ve got me back on board. I didn’t really expect this outcome. Now, can they keep it up?

Unless some of their upcoming opponents can sneak into the Top 25, they’re done with top 25 opponents until the Big Ten Tournament. Might still be a few Quad 1 road opportunities left, though, and isn’t NET what the NCAA focuses on these days? They moved up from 55 to 50.

They may have one of the softest schedules in the Big Ten for the remaining games, gotta keep winning, both at home and on the road.

Does anybody know where to find what the final NET standings were for the at-large teams in the NCAA Tournament last season?

BTW, who thought the uniforms the Huskers wore last night were a good look? As my mother used to say, “double ugly”.

They were kind of a dark red, but the numbers were readable.
