We had theatre tickets and missed seeing the game, doesn’t sound like they played very well, the loss to Iowa knocked them out of the Big Ten Tournament, though coach Hoiberg said they will make one of the lesser post-season tournaments.
5 straight losses to end the regular season was a major disappointment.
Major disappointment doesn’t begin cover it. The second half of the season was an unmitigated disaster. Where this program goes from here is anybody’s guess.

The meeting between Fred Hoiberg and Troy Dannen is one I’d love to overhear. I doubt Hoiberg will be fired, unless Dannen has a good replacement in mind.
This season imploded for reasons that aren’t clear, I don’t think Fred knew how to plug the hole in the dam. With Williams and Gary both gone (among others), are the Huskers going to look to the transfer portal to find some experienced shooters? Essegian and Sam H. can’t carry the load by themselves.
