Huskers lose at home to MN

The Huskers were flat in the first half and Minnesota led by 19 in the 2nd half but the Huskers came back and led with under 30 seconds in the game, but Minnesota hit a 3 with under 5 seconds and the Huskers lose 67-65.

This will be a Q3 loss for the Huskers which really hurts their NCAA chances.

I don’t even know what to say about this disaster. A game the Huskers absolutely need to and should have won. Instead, they missed their first 5 free throws, got way behind, caught up, took the lead, then lost it at the death. SMH.

Stick a fork in this season.

Yesterday’s loss dropped the Huskers from 54 to 57 in the NCAA NET standings, whether that is a fatal blow to their Tournament hopes remains to be seen, they’ve still got 2 more regular season games, @ Ohio State and hosting Iowa, both should be winnable games. (But yesterday’s game should have been winnable, too.)

They’re not quite a lock for the Big Ten tournament, either. Fasten your seat belts!
