Huskers lead Troy by 16 at the half

Huskers started out a bit slow, but Pryce Sandfort got hot with three 3’s in a row and has 17 points at the half.

Sandfort looking good. Mast is OK. Berkeley OK if he doesn’t take any more 3’s. Sam is OK. Lawrence is better than he has been recently. Fraser has lost his 3 point shot. Jacobsen picked up 2 quick fouls and didn’t do much. Refs are meh.

Keep up the pressure and win this thing. Get off the schneide.

Huskers win by 29, only 6 turnovers, 14 3’s, 20 assists and 10 steals.

I’m so happy. Huskers played a really nice 2nd half. They kept up the defensive pressure and were hitting a decent number of shots. Lawrence hit three 3’s and looked much better shooting. Mast had a really nice game. Frager is still struggling with his 3 shot.

Now, on to Saturday’s game with, probably, Vanderbilt.

GBR and Go Big Fred. We’re off the schneide!

Thanks for the update Greg! Flying today and has no internet during the second half! Hooray! We are no longer the only NCAA team without a Win in March Madness!

Women won yesterday. Any word on them yet today?

Also go Baseball and Softball! Both with serious win streaks! Oh can’t forget wrestling and bowling too.

GO BIG, BUG RED!

Troy still doesn’t have an NCAA win, but they’re not in a power conference.

Wisconsin lost to 12-seed High Point and Ohio State lost to 9-seed TCU.

Vandy has extended their halftime lead over McNeese, though McNeese led for much of the first half, but even more interesting is Siena is leading 1-seed Duke.

Vandy prevailed over McNeese and Duke over Siena, so the 5-12 upset of Wisconsin by High Point is likely to be the biggest one of the day.

11-seed VCU just took out 6-seed North Carolina.

Gonna be a lot of busted brackets tonight.

Michigan, Illinois and MSU all won big tonight.

There don’t appear to be any Big Ten teams in the NIT, but Rutgers and Minnesota are in the Crown, the tournament Nebraska won last year.

Creighton is also in the Crown. I wonder what all of those CU fans who looked down their noses at Nebraska last year are saying now?

C’mon you Huskers, Beat Vandy. And c’mon Husker Women’s, Beat Baylor.

I’m wondering why Indiana isn’t in one of the other post-season tournaments. (One of them was cancelled for 2026 rather abruptly last week.)

Maybe they preferred to have their season end somewhat ingloriously?

I believe Indiana declined an NIT invite.
