No respect for Husker MBB.
I’m OK with the lack of poll support for the Huskers, they haven’t earned it yet. The Creighton win is looking a bit tarnished as Creighton is 9-6 and 2-2 in the Big East, and the Huskers did get blown out by MSU. There are plenty of opportunities for them to prove themselves in conference play, and Joe Lunardi thinks they’re tournament-worthy. A big test tomorrow in Iowa City, road conference games are always tough and a road win impresses the voters.
In Joe Lunardi’s latest Bracketology, Nebraska is a #8 seed and Creighton is now in the Next 4 out group. Not sure what happened to derail their season like that.
