Caitlin Clark needed 39 to break the NCAA women’s scoring record, but she only got 31, and the Huskers sunk a late 3 to pull off an 82-79 upset victory over #2 Iowa.
BTW, Clark is also on track to beat the all-time women’s scoring record of 3649, set by Lynette Woodard at Kansas in the days before the NCAA recognized women’s basketball.
