Maryland got stomped by UCLA.
Still I want at least 8 wins and a win over a ranked team.
Good win today. Gotta be much more consistent to compete with the ranked guys. We’ve got the talent to do so, just need to execute.
In other observations, Raiola is looking good for Ducks against USC. He has some great receivers and great protection.
Raiola is a much better fit for Oregon. I think Rhule saw the stars and the potential for headlines and didn’t think about the match of his skills to Nebraska’s style of play.
And I just realized that I’ve got another week of streaming the game. I’ve got to drive my daughter’s car from Miami to Atlanta next weekend. Hopefully the game will be effectively over by the 3rd quarter.
I agree we should be able to beat Maryland next week. This was the first game I actually got to watch parts of this year.
I thought we did well against MSU. Calandrea is a good game leader and has the skills to adjust as each play unfolds. The D is good. Nice sacks and take aways. And the O-Line is much improved. The penalties need to be corrected. Overall a decent game against a middle of the pack team.
Right now we are 1 of the 4 undefeated B1G teams. Can we stay in the top tier? Time will tell.

Most impressive for me were the adjustments on the loose grass. Huskers have only played on field turd (or whatever it is now) and are used to being able to make sharp cuts.
What is the status for Rule and Barney? Were they they only injuries?

It sounds like we won’t get updates on Rule and Barney until Wednesday when they have to release their next player availability report. If there are other injuries we may not learn about those until Wednesday, either.
