Franklin will be Virginia Tech’s new coach, good luck Hokies!
Franklin certainly has a chip on his shoulder after being let go. Guess we’ll see if it translates into rebuilding the Hokies. It’s an easier conference for sure.

I’m not really sold on Franklin’s ability. Yeah, he did good things at Vanderbilt, but he couldn’t win the big games at Penn State. The ACC is in a down cycle at the moment, in part because they’re the low man on the revenue chart among the Big 4 conferences. Not sure VA Tech is gonna be able to bid on the top players like Penn State could.
