ESPN ran 26 simulations of the college football season, and in 8 of them Nebraska made the playoffs. In one of them the Huskers won the Big Ten Championship.
Last year’s simulations were a near-miss on Indiana, they made the playoffs in several of the simulations but none of them had them winning the NC.
I can’t even come close to predicting the Huskers this coming season. There have been so many changes to players and coaches I don’t see how anyone could.
Here’s what I hope happens, however:
Big wins over Ohio, Bowling Green, and North Dakota
Win at least 4 of Mich St, Maryland, Indiana, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, Rutgers, and Ohio State
Finally look good for an entire game and beat Iowa.
Win the bowl game
Those come true and the Huskers would finish 9-4
