I’m not really sure Lane Kiffin belongs on this list, he’s been around too long, but Sanders and Cignetti are definitely redefining (at least for now) what it takes to make a team successful in a hurry. Matt Rhule is (more or less) trying to do it the old-fashioned way, and while that might be the better long-term approach, these days fans (and ADs) don’t have great long-term vision.

FWIW, ESPN’s bowl prognosticators both still have Nebraska in a bowl game.
