I think I’m more relieved than surprised. I wonder if Satterfield will want to stay on at Nebraska after this season, will be encouraged to leave, or just outright dismissed?

Not surprised. But I wonder if he can help at this point.

If nothing else, USC just ripped up its defensive game plan.

And with SC changing QBs, our D doesn’t know what to plan for.

huskers.com doesn’t have anything about the OC change, and Holgorsen isn’t even listed on the staff roster yet.

I told my wife that we had a new OC and when I showed her a photo of Holgerson, she said she didn’t know Will Patton was a coach. Have to admit they do favor a little…

The Chicago Bears fired their OC today, they haven’t scored a touchdown in their last 23 possessions. I don’t think that will salvage their train wreck of a season, but firing coordinators is something head coaches do that sometimes works, and if not, it is just the prelude to firing the whole staff. The Bears haven’t replaced a coordinator mid-season since 1970.
