Bracketology 2/20 update

Purdue is no longer the top seed in Joe Lunardi’s brackets, UConn get the nod. Purdue is still a 1 seed, as are Arizona and Houston.

Still just 6 Big Ten teams in the field.

Purdue - 1 seed
Illinois - 4 seed
Wisconsin - 5 seed
Michigan State - 7 seed
Northwestern - 9 seed
Nebraska - 10 seed

Iowa wins at MSU, putting them just behind the Huskers in the conference standings, but with a 16-11 record they’ll probably need to go deep in the conference tournament to have a shot at the NCAA Tournament.

It’s party time in Omaha tonight, as #15 Creighton knocked off #1 UConn 85-66.

Creighton was 0-6 against #1 teams coming into today’s game.

Creighton beat #1 UConn 85-66.

Playing Nebraska teams is hazardous to the health of #1 ranked teams.

Purdue is back in the top overall seed in Lunardi’s latest brackets.

Northwestern drops to a 10 seed, Nebraska remains a 10 seed, both are in the ‘last 4 byes’ group, so they’re not far off the bubble. Gotta keep winning!

Creighton has moved up to a 3 seed, FWIW.

Ohio State just got the buzzer-beater to beat Michigan State at East Landing, 60-57.
