Nebraska got 16 points in the AP Preseason poll. The top 25 teams are the same in both the AP and coaches polls, with some shuffling of order.
ESPN has an interesting analysis on the AP Top 25, the only two teams in the AP Top 10 that they don’t give a ceiling of 12-0 for are Ole Miss (10-2) and Michigan (11-1). They also give #22 Kansas a 12-0 ceiling, but the Big Twelve may be the most wide-open of all the conferences this year, now that the big dogs have left.
