AP and coaches ratings are out, Ohio State takes over as AP #1, Texas drops to #7, Alabama drops 13 slots to #21. LSU and Iowa State both move up 6 spots. FSU enters the ranking at #14.
Nebraska has fewer points than in the pre-season AP rankings, and that’s probably reasonable at this point. Michigan dropped from #14 to #15 in AP but moved up 1 to #13 in Coaches.
The September 20th Michigan game in Lincoln will be a big test of Nebraska’s improvement in year 3 under Rhule.
