2 OT loss in Columbus

Huskers played inconsistently but led both overtimes before falling to Ohio State in Columbus 116-114.

The officiating was awful in the 2nd half and OT. They missed a T on Ohio State and a travel on the go-ahead shot in the 2nd OT, among other things.

Get your forks out, the Huskers have blown their NCAA chances with 4 consecutive losses. Not sure if they’ve blown their Big Ten tournament chances as well, but they definitely need to beat Iowa at home on Sunday to stay alive.

ESPN is still giving Nebraska a 25% chance of making the Tournament, but does say that they need to beat Iowa AND have a good showing in the Big Ten tournament.

I don’t think it is guaranteed they are even going to the Big Ten Tournament.

There are currently 5 teams with 12 conference losses, 2 of them still have 2 games left (Iowa and USC), the others (Nebraska, Northwestern and Rutgers) have just one game left.

I don’t understand all the tiebreakers, but it is clear that if Nebraska beats Iowa, they’re in the Big Ten tournament, because 2 teams (Penn State and Washington) are too far back to make the field of 15, so only 1 of the 5 teams with 12 losses will be out.
