Chatroom open for Purdue game

Is there an NCAA record for most PI penalties?

A TD happened. Nebraska 7-3.

On Nov. 11, 1961, the Arizona Devils were tagged with 13 flags for 238 penalty yards in a game at UTEP ā€“ a record that hasnā€™t been broken in the 60+ ensuing years of FBS college football.

Theyā€™re within 100 yards of that mark.

Defense stepping it up.

They must have heard me call them The Scoring Implosion.

Good call on 4th an goal for the 2nd TD!

Great defensive play by Hartzog to force a punt.

The more carries by Barney Jr., the better. Huskers lead 21-3.

So I couldnā€™t see the game, boat was calling.

Looking at the box score I see Jalen Lloyd had a -37 yard run. What the f*** happened?

I donā€™t see a play matching that in the play-by-play, maybe itā€™s a typo somewhere?

Barney Jr. had a 31 yard run on our first possession.

The stats at huskers.com show Jalyen Lloyd with 1 carry for 1 yard and 1 reception for 25 yards.

ESPN had 1 carry for -37 yards. Thatā€™s been fixed. My jaw dropped when I saw that. Glad it was an error

While I didnā€™t see the game, Iā€™ve been perusing the play by play.

Seems like the OPI call on Fidone was bad, but Purdue lost a TD as well on an OPI. They also had a number of defensive PI calls. I get that as itā€™s hard to cover some 6ā€™4" WRs like we have.

Iā€™m puzzled why we cannot get a between the tackles running game going. PU had a weak run D and we should have run much more successfully than we did.
