Chatroom open for Penn State Game

I agree that nfl-caliber tackles on both lines should be the priority for the portal this offseason. Zatechka said in his podcast before the season or right after Cincy that with Ty and Nash gone the Huskers needed a big tackle who could “drop anchor” in the meiddle and be hard to move, and that there was not one on the roster this year. This has proven true. Another offseason for the Fr and So DTs to bulk up should also help.

I think the interior O-Line has been pretty solid this year, someone said maybe Rhule needs to hire a consultant specifically for the offensive tacklea and that is probably also true.

Still, there is measurable progress this year from last in special teams, fewer turnovers, fewer penalties, and resilience. The loss to PSU was bad, but it doesn’t mean the team isn’t still going in the right direction.

Kind of using a play on words here but I think they CAN beat Iowa but WILL they beat Iowa? It was said in another post that it looked like they had their bowl eligibility and there is no way they will make the playoffs so there was little motivation.

Actually, before the season started this Penn State game and Michigan were the two that scared me some. Historically Penn State has always been tough at home.

Penn State actually got a few votes in the Coaches Poll this week, unusual for a 5-6 team.

And I don’t understand why the AP poll isn’t giving Indiana any first place votes but the coaches are.
